The Blood-Horse
Personal URL Package

This is the direct mail package that The Blood-Horse sent out to current subscribers. It contains two components: a letter and a card. Furthermore, both pieces contain a personal URL driving the subscriber to a personalized landing page.

The PURL was used to get pre-registrations for a new and free subscriber-only website.

 


 

Personal URL Test Summary

The Blood-Horse magazine, a publication devoted to international thoroughbred racing and breeding, launched a PURL campaign with us to pre-register subscribers to a “subscriber only” web site located at:

www.BloodHorseNow.com

We sent out 21,500 mail pieces to their current subscribers and the conversion rate was impressive and above expectations.

Here are some stats: 8.73 percent of subscribers registered; 10.3 percent visited their PURL; and 84.7 percent that visited their PURL, registered.
