4) Does Ballantine experience vendor turnover?

While situations beyond our control certainly do contribute to some vendor turnover, we have a reputation for maintaining vendor and client relationships for long periods of time. Some of the steps we take to promote long-term vendor alliances are as follows:

Thorough check of their financial condition.
Initial inspection of the plant and meetings with their key people.
Whenever possible, we attempt to work with plants that have little to no representation in our market to minimize conflicts.
We are demanding but fair and good to work with.
We pay our bills very promptly, often within 20 days.
