They’re expensive to produce and the postage (on flats) is now sky-high. For some mailers, they still work regardless…

The slim jim magalog is a great format. I just completed creating one for a health supplement.
It doesn’t have quite the same feel as the typical magazine style format, but the response is comparable. Even when response is a little less, the savings on postage is so big it beats out the larger format.
I agree Dean. We print and mail slim jim magalogs for about a half dozen clients on a pretty regular basis.
We’ll see if the USPS changes the postage on them because I know there’s some discussion about that going on right now.
